I've used this several times and it never failed.
Whenever the regular patch fails, normaly on Maps.wz, just follow the guide bellow =)

Create your own Pre-patcher (Lite)

Tutorial: How to make a Maplestory pre-patcher.
Time to completion: 2-3 minutes
Required files: NXPatcherLite16.zip

How to do it:
1 - Unpack NXPatcherLite16.zip into your Maplestory directory.
2 - You will see one file - NXPatcherLite.exe
3 - Download the patch file from Patch Watcher. When you download the patch file, download it to your maplestory directory.
4 - After the patch file is fully downloaded, simply drag & drop the file onto NXPatcherLite.exe. The program creates the pre-patcher for you. If everything went as planned, you should notice the command prompt quickly open and close. Simply run the pre-patcher in the same directory to patch your game.

Sometimes when u patch maple, for some reason it fails...mostly on Maps.wz.
This is used to make the patcher work. It actualy makes a patcher for u...and it works!
